Coaching
I am an EMCC Accredited Coach at Senior Practitioner Level, with a long career in leadership and management. I am also an experienced NCPS Senior Accredited counsellor. Choosing a coach who is also a therapist gives you the best of both worlds. I qualified as a coach on the Therapist to Coach training run by Dr Trish Turner. There are many overlaps between coaching and counselling and I love the way I can use my knowledge of people and dynamics to inform my work as a coach. I also have experience of working within the statutory, voluntary and business sector myself, and have been in various management roles myself, as well as many years working with clients in these organisations. I have a particular interest in the issues that affect women in the workplace and also in neurodiversity.
Working with senior executives, it is often helpful to look at the organisation as a whole system and see how the dynamics are impacting on teams and individuals as well as the organisation as a whole, and how you might work with that to achieve your goals. This is equally true working with those who run their own businesses and those who are reviewing their current position and particularly want to focus on their career and personal development.
My working hours are currently 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Usually coaching sessions are less frequent than counselling sessions and may also be longer, for example for two hours a month, but we can discuss your individual preferences when we meet.
I work online and I offer a free 30 minute initial exploratory session where we can meet and see if we feel we are a good fit to work together. This is an opportunity for us to find out more about each other, and for you to explain what you are looking for. If we decide to go ahead we will draw up a contract for working together and discuss fees and payment.
Information about my current fees is available on the contact page.
